Coral Flyer Zipline is a flying fox activity between Pulau Gaya and Sapi Island, stretching for 250 meters across a calm channel of sea water from a dizzying height of 45 meters. Operated by Ropeskills Rigging, the zipline is a recent tourist attraction for visitors at either island of Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. For safety, the steel cables are attached to 18 tonne blocks at both ends, with a load capacity of 12 tones. Travelling at speeds up to 60kmph, the harnesses are rated to 2.2 tonnes while accredited staff observe all operations and landing. Finally, the cables and system are checked daily, weekly and monthly while following a fixed maintenance schedule.
