Botanical Garden in a tourist attraction at Kinabalu Park, housing a collection of local flora that includes pitcher plants, orchids, ferns and lianas in a densely landscaped garden that intermingles with the surrounding montane rainforest. For a small ticket fee, visitors can explore the garden without limit, taking time to gaze at the occasional pretty colours and strange leafy formations.
Also, watch out for insects, lizards, snakes and small mammals endemic to Mount Kinabalu that sometimes appear randomly in the foliage. The garden is located a short distance away from the park entrance, opposite Kinabalu World Heritage Gallery.
