Accommodation at Mount Kinabalu is managed by Sutera Sanctuary Lodges, which includes Kinabalu Park, Poring Hot Springs and Mesilau Nature Resort. Within the primary park and substations, visitors have a choice of dormitories, hostels, lodges and bungalows equipped with modern amenities for a decent stay.
Beyond park boundaries, there are many hotels and homestays within Kundasang and Ranau that cater for all budget levels. Most are located along the main road connecting Kinabalu Park to the nearest town at Kundasang, while others are located at more remote villages such as Mesilau.
