Rainforest Discovery Center (RDC) is a nature education and conservation site located at Sepilok, about 23 km away from Sandakan. Established since 1997, the center is home to 4,300 hectares of primary lowland dipterocarp forest with over 300 species of birds and various wildlife species including the famed Orang-Utan. Some of the attractions at the park include a canopy walkway, giant Seraya tree (65-meters in height), plant discovery garden, jungle trails and exhibiton hall. Open daily from 8am til 5pm, an entrance fee is charged.
