Sabah Museum

Sabah Museum is the state gallery of historical and modern artifacts pertaining to archaeology, ethnography, ethnobotany, science, technology, natural history and Islamic civilisation. Perched on a hill top at Bukit Istana Lama near Sembulan District, the museum is located 1km away from KK City Center along Jalan Penampang Highway.

Inside, visitors can different wings that house ceramics, brassware, costumes, relics, dioramas of stuffed animals and more relating to Borneo. Outside, explore a collection of vintage vehicles, heritage village composed of traditional native homes, botanical garden highlighting endemic plant species and the Islamic Civilisation Museum.
